Natural Gardenia Red Pigment is a clean-label natural edible colorant extracted from Gardenia Jasminoides Ellis fruit via water extraction, biological enzymatic conversion, macroporous resin purification and spray drying technology.
Main Specification: Gardenia Red Pigment E30
Natural Gardenia Red Pigment Production Process:
Stable bright red within pH 2.5–8.0; slight lighter red above pH 6; precipitation occurs below pH 3.5.
Excellent thermal stability, no obvious fading after heating at 100°C for a long time, suitable for baking, boiling and high-temperature sterilization.
Stable with Ca²⁺, Al³⁺, Mg²⁺; avoid iron/tin ions, which will cause discoloration and darkening.
Best light stability at pH 4–6; slight color fading under strong UV light at extreme pH levels.
Salt & Oxidation Resistance: Salinity, oxidants, and reducing agents have almost no negative impact on tone and color value.
Tinting Power: Strong staining effect on protein, starch, and carbohydrate food substrates.
